Goresoerd is an Estonian metal band that was formed in Tartu in 1999. The band consists of vocalist Silver “Factor” Rattasepp, guitarists Jaanus “Goresoerd” Viskar and Kaimar “Kraak” Karu, bassist Kristjan “Gomez” Luht, and drummer Martin “Muddi” Aulis.
Goresoerd plays death metal, thrash metal and melodic death metal. Their music also features elements of black metal, folk metal, and punk rock. The band’s music is often fast-paced, aggressive, and energetic, and occasionally includes melodic and acoustic parts. The lyrics often deal with social and political issues. The band is also known for its unique sound, which combines different musical styles.
The band is known for its energetic live performances and has released six full-length studio albums, including “Tüdruk ja Surm” (2004), “Kaarte pööramine” (2007) and “Antikeha” (2018).
